  • Where is…? – أَيْنَ…؟ (ʾayna…?)
    • Example: Where is the hotel? – أَيْنَ الفُنْدُق؟ (ʾayna al-funduq?)
  • How can I get to…? – كَيْفَ أَذْهَبُ إِلَى…؟ (kayfa ʾadhhabu ʾilā…?)
    • Example: How can I get to the train station? – كَيْفَ أَذْهَبُ إِلَى مَحَطَّة القِطَار؟ (kayfa ʾadhhabu ʾilā maḥaṭṭat al-qiṭār?)
  • Is it far? – هَلْ هُوَ بَعِيد؟ (hal huwa baʿīd?)
    • Example: Is the market far? – هَلْ السُّوق بَعِيد؟ (hal al-sūq baʿīd?)
  • Right/Left – يَمِين/يَسَار (yamīn / yasār)
    • Example: Turn right. – إِلْتَفِتْ يَمِينًا. (ʾiltafit yamīnan.)

    How much is the room per night? – كَمْ سِعْر الغُرْفَة فِي اللَّيْلَة؟ (kam siʿr al-ghurfa fī al-layla?)

    • Example: How much is the room with breakfast included? – كَمْ سِعْر الغُرْفَة مَعَ الفُطُور؟ (kam siʿr al-ghurfa maʿa al-fuṭūr?)

    Do you have any vacancies? – هَلْ لَدَيْكُمْ غُرَف شَاغِرَة؟ (hal ladaykum ghuraf shāghira?)

    • Example: Do you have any vacancies for tonight? – هَلْ لَدَيْكُمْ غُرَف شَاغِرَة لِلَيْلَة؟ (hal ladaykum ghuraf shāghira lilayla?)

    I need a room with a view. – أَحْتَاجُ غُرْفَةً بِإِطْلَالَة. (ʾaḥtāju ghurfa biʾiṭlāla.)

    • Example: I need a room with a sea view. – أَحْتَاجُ غُرْفَةً بِإِطْلَالَة عَلَى البَحْر. (ʾaḥtāju ghurfa biʾiṭlāla ʿalā al-baḥr.)
